0. Moondah Brook Cabernet Rose 2006

First cab off the rank, this rose made I believe from 100% cabernet sauvignon, held a bright and fresh bouquet of red berries, red jubes, strawberry, flowers and a touch of herbs. On the palate it was quite fresh, with good balance and finish. A little towards the sweet side, and lacking complexity, it was nevertheless a fresh start to the tasting.
