From the Hilltops region in NSW, this cabernet opened to a nice array of blackberries, cassis, mocha, spice and mint-chocolate. On the palate it was quite rich in fruits, with fairly grippy but softening tannins. Acidity was a little aggressive but overall this was a pretty well made cabernet, and quite good value at around $20. Would benifit further from cellaring.
