From the Lower Hunter NSW, this cabernet showed a straight forward bouquet of cassis, black fruits, a little mint and not much else. Similary the palate was straightforward and non-complex with light fruits, fresh acidity and no-nonses tannins. Overall a light easy style of cabernet, which would suit a barbeque.
