2. Taylors Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
From the Clare Valley SA, this cabernet displayed a slighty youthful bouquet of currants, cassis, mint, chocolate and candied banana. The palate was decently rich, with a bit of runaway acidity and rough tannins, but managed to hold itself somewhat. Finish was a little rough but really not a bad cabernet. Would benefit from a decent decant.
