Splurging a little, we opened this 3rd growth GCC from Haut-Medoc after enjoying the
2nd wine from this Chateau. After some decanting time the nose showed aromas of plum, currants, oak, pine, coffee, chocolate, cherry and savoury herbs. On the palate quite ready to go yet still depth underneath. Pure fruits over clean minerals and a long finish, this was a stylish and accomplished Bordeaux. Very nice.
