Zind Humbrecht Brand Riesling Grand Cru 1998

At dinner with an old friend we ordered this dry riesling for dessert with cheese and fruits. On the bouquet a melange of citrus, apricot, honey, spices and petrol. The palate showed rich, dry and complex fruits, fine acidity and minerals. Ageing very well this was indeed a superb treat for dessert.
