Evans & Tate Gnangara Unwooded Chardonnay 2006
Seeing this on special for $10, we got 2 bottles, the other of the SB which we had a few months ago which was quite good. Nice balanced bouquet of rich ripe melon, guava, grapefruit and a little spice. On the palate it was fairly easy going with tropical fruits over a nice citruss acidity. Length was not great, but the wine was in balance and fermented dry. Quite a nice easy style of chardonnay, and a good bargain at $10.
