Angove's Red Belly Black Chardonnay 2006
Without my knowledge or consent, Deb brought home this chardonnay to have with dinner. Opened to a fairly nice bouquet of melon, nectarine, nuts, cream and sweet musk. On the palate the acidity was a little rougish, but in check enough not to spoil things. Body and length were a little lean and finish short, but overall a fairly easy drinking chardonnay, which doesn't demand that much from you.
