Concha Y Toro Casillerro del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
Continuing my Chilean theme, wanted to try this Cab Sav, as apparently voted best value Cab Sav in the world by Decanter Magazine. Opened to quite a pleasant bouquet of blackberries, mint, Cab leaf, spice and some vegetable hints. On the palate it was nicely textured and rounded, with quite smooth and dry tannins, decent length and finish. Overall this was a nicely made Cabernet, slightly French/Spanish in style, and definitely a bargain at $10.
