Concha Y Toro Casillerro del Diablo Viognier 2006
I had the previous vintage of this wine about a year or so ago, and quite liked it. Now under screwcap, the bouquet held ripe apricots, spices, a little vanilla and some florals. The palate was quite robust, with rich fruit and a hint of rubber. The acidity was firm and a little powdery, and length and finish were decent and dry. There was a hint of residual sugars, and a little egg on the nose but still this is a pretty decent and relatively cheap viognier.
