De Bortoli Windy Peak Chardonnay 2005

Another low cost chardonnay made from fruit originating in the Murray Valley, King Valley, Yarra Valley and the Bellarine Peninsula had rather sweet fruity aromas of figs, melon, fuzzy peach and some cream. On the palate it had a nice rounded mouthfeel, with melon, fig and a touch of oak. Finished quite dry snipping the fruitiness. A bit of residual sugar, overall it wasn't too bad of a wine. Did quite well with our pork chops. Worth $10 but don't pay much more for it.
50+4+12+15+7 = 88/100
