Toolangi Estate Chardonnay 2004

Finally found this wine again, albeit a new vintage. On the bouquet soft aromas of nectarine, pear, peach, cashew and vanilla. The palate was again quite tight, yet relaxed somewhat, with more focus on the fruit. Lovely integrated fruit / oak structure, with a mild creaminess and minerality. Quite a long lingering finish. This is still a superb chardonnay, although I think a little less focused and softer than the fantastic 2002 vintage. Still, it's a pleasure to have again.
50+4+13+17+8 = 92/100
