Yalumba Y Series Viognier 2005

Having had the previous vintage, which was a bit of a slap in the face, decided to try the 2005. Bouquet wise it was quite ok, with apricot, musk, lemon and a little herbaceousness. On the palate it was quite chewy and robust, with a little volotility, not as much as the last but still there. Good to see it improving, but it does have to achieve more finesse, which I am sure Yalumba is capable of.
50+4+12+14+6 = 86/100
