Mas Des Bressades Rose 2005
This wine from the Costières de Nimes in the south of France, made from 50% Syrah and 50% Grenache, had a bouquet of berries, particulary raspberry, with hints of tomatoe skin and herbs. On the palate it was very soft and round, but focussed. Good balance and length with a lovely savoury dry finish. Quite an elgant fruity rose, which would be quite popular with drinkers in this country.
