Cuvee Gabriel Rouge Vin De Table NV

Probably the base wine in this producers portfolio, this red blend from the south of France had a nice, soft bouquet of cherries and spice, and not much else. On the palate it was quite soft again, with decent balance. Not much body or length, but nothing here that would offend anybody. Really a light, cheap table wine, with a slight Italian feel, which works quite well with most food. Not bad at $12 here, but would imagine be very cheap in Europe.
50+4+12+14+6 = 86/100
