Wirra Wirra Hand Picked Riesling 2006
At lunch got a bottle of this riesling from the Adelaide Hills. Opened to quite a young bouquet of red apple, grapefruit, lime and some herbal elements. On the palate it was well balanced, with fine acidity and a touch of talc. Length was decent and finished rather well. Overall a bit young out of the bottle and probably could do with some cellaring. Decent value at $18.
