Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon 2002

For pre dinner Deb picked up this semillon, a newer vintage of the wine we had some time ago. The bouquet was fairly tight, with lemon dominante, also with some lanolin, herbs and a touch of toast. On the palate it was quite citrussy, with robust acidity and not much more. It seemed quite locked up and in-expressive. Most likely this wine needs a decade in the bottle to reveal itself.
50+4+11+15+7 = 87/100
