As per my friend Marks suggestion, we got a bottle of this wine, chilled it to an inch of its life, and drank with some Kefalograviera cheese. And it does work a treat. Anyway back to the wine, big cherry mousse, with aromas of blackberries, raspberries, spice and a little chocolate. The palate was well beaded, balanced and reasonably rich. Not as developed as the
2002 vintage we had some months ago, but still a good, old-fashioned sparkling red.
