Margan White Label Semillon 2006

I am starting to have cravings for Semillon for some reason, so picked up this for pre-dinner. Opened to a generous bouquet of lemon, verbena, toast, wax, nougat and some honeysuckle. On the palate it was fairly zesty, but quite rich and balanced, with nice fruit, good length and soft finish. The wine did hold itself well as it warmed, and is quite a friendly and generous wine despite its youth. Could develop further with cellaring.
