Mount Tamborine Winery Cabernet Merlot 2004
And to the last wine of the Tamborine case. This cab merlot held a decent bouquet of plums, berries, oak and spice. On the palate it was medium bodied, with rich fruit over rather soft oak. It was a little unbalanced, with tannins running a little rough, so too with its acidity. Finished fairly dry and sharp. May soften with some cellaring, but really not a bad nor great wine. Needs some work.
