Mount Tamborine Winery Anni's Bubbles NV
Part of a case, a generous gift from my mother, this sparkling chardonnay from QLD opened with a fairly soft bouquet of citruss, mango, pineapple and a hint of yeast. On the palate the beading was fair and persistant, with a soft rich mouthfeel, and decent dry finish. Overall it was fairly light but well balanced, and very drinkable. It leaned towards a sweeter style, but not enough to detract. Quite a well made QLD sparkling wine.
