1. Chateau de Fonsalette Blanc 2005

To start the Rhône tasting, this Cotes du Rhone made from Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Marsanne showed aromas of pineapple, melon, wax, honey, florals and some spice. On the palate quite weighty with nice structure and some stony minerals. Quite popular with everyone and I think the winner for the Blanc section.
