The next wine showed a slight departure and displayed aromas of cassis, kirsch, milk chocolate, espresso, bacon fat, licorice, black olives, fig and sweet musk notes. The palate was quite feminine with sweet fruits over some soft smokey oak and furry tannins. This was quite fine and a good counterpoint to the proceedings. Lovely and girly.
