Up next this wine, made from 66% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 24% Mourvedre showed a rustic bouquet of cherry, blackberry, licorice, violet, hay, manure (barnyard) and some spice. On the palate it was very well balanced, with a nice savoury edge on the finish. For me this did stand out, even being as rustic as it was. Very charming.
