Next something old. Opened to a complex bouquet of blackberries, compote, pepper, oak, a hint of roast meat and savoury spice. The palate was nicely integrated, with deep fruit over fading oak, ripe tannins and a streak of mineral. The palate did keep developing with more air. Did pique peoples interest. Very good.
