From reading the label, this wine is from the same makers as
Rocky Point Pinot, which gave me impetus to try this. After a decent decant, the bouquet showed a lovely array of sweet-sour morello cherry, oak, pepper, sap and some herbal notes. On the palate some nice sour cherry fruits, with sappy notes. Balanced body, ripe silky tannins and cheeky finished made this quite a respectable Otago Pinot. A little pricey at $50 but still very nice. Would cellar well.
