For dinner we tried this relatively cheap Cab Sav ($14). Opened to a ripe and soft bouquet of plum, cassis, berries, spice and a touch of mint. On the palate it was quite soft with pureed fruits and quite soft and flabby tannins, which did tighten somewhat over time. Decent length and finish, made this a palatable but not fantastic wine.
