03. Domaine Ogereau Anjou Cuvée Prestige Blanc 2002

This chenin blanc from Saint Lambert in the Anjou region of Loire, opened to a rich and heady, slightly boytrytisized bouquet of honey, flowers and limestone characters. On the palate it was a little flat and locked, with the 14% alcohol somewhat apparent. Overall an interesting treatment of chenin blanc, but not the best I have come across.
