3. Gralyn Estate Late Harvest Riesling 2006

And to something different again, this late harvest wine was served next. On the bouqet was an attractive mix of tropical fruit, citruss and flowers. The palate was reasonably weighty and semi-viscous with syrupy fruits and a nice acidity. Particulary nice was the wine restrained from becoming cloying and sickly, and its structure and weight were reminiscent of a sweeter German style. Overall this was quite a delicious semi-sweet wine.
