1. Leeuwin Estate Art Series Riesling 2005
From the Margaret River WA, this wine showed muted aromas of citrus blossom, honeysuckle, lime and quince with a little hint of spice. On the palate it showed mostly lime and grapefruit, with a good clean acidity. Mouthfeel was a little slippery and length and finish were acceptable. A typical Australian riesling which lacked a little character but well made nevertheless. A good start.
