Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial NV
We opened this Champagne to start our quiet NY eve, which I've not had for some years. The bouquet was more reserved than I remember, with soft notes of limes, flowers and some nuts. The palate was very clean and balanced, with good beading, and was rather delicate and fruit driven. Good length and soft dry finish made this very elegant drinking, and is definitely not the same wine as it was several years ago, which from memory was far more floral, boofy and sweet, and a little unbalanced. It has improved quite a lot.
