Devil's Lair Fifth Leg Rose 2006

Beautiful pale pink-magenta in colour, this rose made from Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon had aromas of red berries, plums and herbs. On the palate it was crisp and crunchy, with a racy acidity and a savoury dryness, almost displaying carbonation. Lacked a little finesse, but had a balance and style which doesn't dissapoint. Could be a little cheaper, but overall a well made crowd pleasing rose.
