Temple Bruer Chenin Blanc 2005
The new vintage of this Chenin had a tight, steely, mineral bouquet, very much like a classic Vouvray, with musk, apples and flowers. On the palate it was quite crunchy, yet well balanced and rounded. Good length and crisp finish. The acid structure is there for some cellaring. Good to see consistency with this wine, which has to be the best made chenin from this country I have tasted.
