Mount Langhi Ghiran Billi Billi Creek Shiraz 2003

From the Grampians Victoria, this shiraz was deep crimson, with aromas of raspberry, nougat, earth and truffles. Very smooth tannins held more raspberry, spice, earth and a touch of mocca and caramel. Velvety mouthfeel, rich, warm and lingering. Medium bodied, very similar to a pinot in structure. Beautifully balanced.

This is my kind of shiraz. A bargain at around $20. Wonderful.
