From Murrumbateman, NSW, this was mid to dark crimson colour, on the nose rich cherry, cumin spices, violet, charcoal and brazil nut. On the palate rich savoury cherry again, a little sweet, yet held back by robust tannins with good grip. Good length and dry finish. Overall a decent savoury wine which could do with a little less fruit, but a good eating wine.
