Yalumba Y Series Unwooded Chardonnay 2005

With some time passed after trying the Y series Viognier some time ago which was a bit shocking, I decided to have a go at another in the Y series. And I do like the style of their bottle labeling.

Bright golden straw with green hues. The nose shows tropical aromas with grapefruit, musk and melon. On the palate rich melon and peach are accompanied by a mild creamy texture, with reasonably balanced acidity and a dry finish. Not too bad overall, could do with a bit more weight palate wise.
