Joseph Drouhin Laforet Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2003
Deep ruby, the nose of this pinot was light, fresh cherries, a touch of strawberry, hint of earth and forest floor, but very faint. Palate wise semi-ripe cherry and oak. Structurally it was very light, almost as light as a rose, with short length and slight in finish. Well made, but not much depth. For the price you could do a lot better with an Australian pinot.
