2 . Cattier Chigny-les-Roses Brut Premier Cru NV
The first and only Champagne, this NV had a rather elusive bouquet, which did open to reveal nectarine, apple, pear and some strawberry. On the palate it again was fairly light, with good citruss and cream flavours, very smooth beading and nice dry finish. Reminded me a little of Pol Roger in style in its structure and weight. Good value at around $40.
