Yering Station ED Pinot Noir Rose 2005

Christmas eve, and we opened this wine, of which I have tried the 2006 vintage previously. Lovely pinot bouquet of berries, mulch, spice and cream. On the palate was a superb balance between crisp fruit and soft cream, finishing dry and long, with a little spice. A little more intensity than the 2006, and perhaps depth as well. Went quite well with our cold roast pork and Normandy salad. Again, superb rose, and the best Australian one I have had to date.
