Pouilly-Fuissé Maison Champy 2001

Picked this up from Vintage Cellars with a twelve dollar discount, bargain. This chardonnay was dark and smoky, nutty and floral aromas. A full mouthful but dry and on the palate perhaps not brilliant but chrisp citrus flavour. The presence of oak is obvious but not over powering and well integrated. Decent length and refreshing
