Metala Black Label Original Plantings Shiraz 2002
Opaque crimson black colour. Wonderful aromas of violets, nougat and a hint of eucalypt. Palate wise it had a medium body with flavours of plum, blackberry, nougat and spice. Very soft tannins and finished a little short. Would have liked more body and length, thus thought it overpriced compared to the White Label Shiraz Cabernet, which I think is far better value at a 3rd of the price.
