Nero d'Avola

Cusumano Nero d'Avola 2004

This Sicilian wine from made from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, had aromas of morello cherry, blackberry jam and rose petals. On the palate was vaguely spicy with soft tannins and dry-bitter cherry finish. Would suit a traditional pizza.
