After our Chardonnay we drank this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. On the bouquet were aromas of sweet dried raisins, cassis, plum, earth, blackberry jam and spices. The palate was initially a little light but did settle and solidify with rich fruits, minerals and ripe tannins. Quite a generous wine, this was well made and very enjoyable we thought.
