Pink Elephant Rose 2006

A new import from Portugal, this rose made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Castelão and Alfrocheiro showed some nice aromas of cherry, strawberry, fairy floss and a touch of spice. On the palate it was quite well balanced, with juicy red-berry fruits over minerals and clean acid. Finished dry and soft. Overall quite a well made rose which was easy drinking. A bargain too at $9.
