Ceravolo Sangiovese 2006

For a mid-week pasta, the shop assistant recommended this Sangiovese from the Adelaide Plains. On the bouquet a pleasant array of cherry, raspberry, violets and a little spice. The palate was mid-bodied with some very nice fruit and soft tannins. Finish was savoury and dry. Overall quite a good example, and made for a very food friendly wine.
