7. Tuck's Ridge Clare Valley Riesling 2005
This next wine put the brakes on somewhat, with some participants rushing for the sink (probably for some water?). Big funky bouquet of green apple, fruit salad and more green apple. The palate was borderline volitile, with runaway acidity and I suspect some residual sugar. Some described it as chewey, to the point of hubba bubba grape flavour. Finish was hot and a little rasping. Not a bad effort to be fair.
