Me Matahiwi Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2006

Another wine from the local, this SB from NZ had aromas of muted passionfruit, citrus, grass, vegetables and herbs. On the palate it was quite crisp, with fine and balanced acidity, good length and an edgy savoury finish. Overall a fairly typical NZ SB which lacked a little distinction, but well made and fairly cheap. Elegant labelling.
