Howling Wolves Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2006
This white from the Margaret River blended from 55% Semillon and 45% Sauvignon Blanc, had a good aroma of citruss, gooseberries and grass. On the palate it was fairly well balanced, with fresh acidity and a decent finish. Initially the acid was a little high, but the wine did settle a little, finishing soft and well balanced. Not a bad wine, but a little overpriced, which I suspect has more to do with wanky marketing rather than value.
