Leo Buring Eden Valley Riesling 2006
Again a similar story to the Clare Valley. Aromas of Lime juice, green apple, white fruit, mineral and smoke. On the palate quite an oily mouthfeel, with racy acidity and some petroleum characteristics. Again not as much length and intensity as the 2005. But superb dry steely finish. Again may be a bit young, but still very well crafted. I think overall 2005 was a better vintage.
