Jacob's Creek Three Vines Shiraz Grenache Sangiovese 2007
Again on the specials shelf, this new release rose style from Orlando looked and sounded interesting as a blend, and opened to a melange of plums, raspberry, strawberry and a some muted spice. On the palate it was well balanced, light to medium bodied, with juicy berry fruits and a slightly savoury finish. Overall it seemed a little banal, lacking any distinction or character. Still not a bad wine, just a tad boring.
